Available Horses |
Horses or burros on this page may have been gentled to the
point of being able to wear a halter, have had some trailer work, and have been
led around on a lead. Most of these horses have not been saddle broke or
even had a blanket placed on their backs and will still require work to make
them that "perfect" horse.
If you have a mustang or domestic horse that you must part with, you can
submit your request to
info@nwha.us. While we provide this
service free of charge, donations to the NWHA are greatly needed and
appreciated. Click images for larger pictures. |

Little Bear is 2002 gelding captured at Jakes Wash in
northern Nevada as a two year old. He is a 14 hands. He was adopted in 2006,
abandoned in 2009 and rescued by The Huppie Syndicate. He had no formal
training. He is a very sweet, loving boy. I can pick up all four feet, he
halters and leads well. His adoption fee is $650 and he will come vaccinated,
trimmed, wormed, trailer trained and with 60 days of professional training by
Joe Weitekamp of Diamond W
Ranch.
Completion of an adoption application, references and a facility check are
required. Once the applicant has completed the adoption process and committed to
the adoption, the horse will be sent for training. For updates on him, please
visit:
WoofWhinnyWhisper. If you are interested please contact Paula Isenbarg at
702.437.3367 or 702.858.3542 or email her at
pisenbarg@cox.net.

Rascal needs someone who is patient and kind with time
and knowledge to continue his progress. He is somewhat halter broken, and leads
okay. He can be tied with a blocker ring and has had his feet trimmed with
sedation and a patient farrier. He is still learning to trust people but can be
worked with. I can no longer keep him because I can not dedicate the need time
to see him through and lack the skills it takes to work with a BLM horse. I
would love to see him go into a forever home with someone with patience, time
and skill. I take full responsibility for him, since I took him from the wild
thinking I was saving him. Although he is fed very well and does not have to
worry about food or shelter he is now left in a corral with no person of his own
to train and work with him. He is about 9 years old and in good condition, current on de-worming. I am
willing to donate Rascal to anyone who will take very good care of him and I
will deliver him to the Las Vegas area for free.
Thank you.
